The big day is now just three weeks from nowand things are shaping up already. The people rooting for President Jonathan are keenly looking forward to March 28 and anticipating a victory for him. Naij.com’s regular commentator on electoral issues,Adedayo Ademuwagun, has compiled a list of 18 states where Jonathan might lose the polls, and why.
200 vehicles with soldiers from Chad and Niger have crossed the border into Nigeria to fight the Boko Haram sect in the northeastern region. Vehicles have been crossing since Saturday and the deployment was followed by loud detonations, signaling heavy combat with Boko Haram insurgents.

An Islamist terrorist sect Boko Haram has launched a deadly attack on Gombi in Gombi Local Government Area of Adamawa State. The insurgents have entered the town on Monday, Marth 9 from Shani. According to anonymous military source, Nigerian troops had confronted the terrorists in a bid to repel them and force them out of the town. Gombi has been repeatedly attacked in the past by Boko Haram and the region has been under a military state of emergency since May 2013.
As a result of the massive deal, AIT, which was in poor financial shape that its principal owner, Raymond Dokpesi, had decided to sell it to the banks to which the station owed several billions of Naira, is now back in good standing.
