Immediate past Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, has denied allegations of enjoying an intimate relationship with former President Goodluck Jonathan and other men.
In an interview with The Boss magazine in London, the cancer patient insists that she has been a long standing family friend with the ex-president even before he assumed the office of the president of Nigeria.
Bacing up her claims as she described the allegation as totally untrue, Diezani noted that her mother, Beatrice Agama was a popular figure, who played the role of a godmother in the Niger Delta area, hence the love and friendship she enjoys with several people from the area including militants.
Maintaining the allegations were merely attacks to smear her successful and happy marriage, Diezani vehemently denied any intimacy or liaison with individuals that includeChris Aire, Kola Aluko, Jide Omokore, Tonye Cole, Dapo Abiodun, Wale Tinubu and Igho Sanomi.
The former Minister for Transportation as well as Petroleum Resources explained further that some of these men were unknown to her until she became minister.
