Nigerian Music 13 alternative artists you should add to your playlist

Call them Alternative R&B, contemporary R&B and soul, or whatever, these Nigerian singers are in a class of their own with beautiful vocals and songwriting you'd appreciate if you know your music well.
These are 3 Nigerian talented acts whose sound you should listen to and add to your Alternative music playlist, or wherever that fits into for you.

Tomi owo

An amazing vocalist Tomi Owo started putting out music sometime in 2015.

She kicked off a project which had her release one song a month under Hills Music Group based in the UK, and so far they’ve been all so impressive. Tomi sings about love and everything in between.

Listen to ‘Pieces’ produced by her fast rising producer IBK, who doubles up as her brother.
Omar

Omar, a member of the Certified Bad Guys (C.B.G) group of artists is also one to look out for, going by his smooth vocal delivery that strikes a similar resemblance to that of the DRB Lasgidi singer BOJ. ‘It’s your boy Omar’
Another singer with one of a kind amazing voice, that probably doesn’t need much introduction is gradually becoming a household name even as he releases his official single after dropping covers of many songs such as Ed Sheeran’s ‘Thinking out loud’.

Listen to his debut song ‘Hallelujah’.
